Off she goes...

I am now in the waiting area at St. Mary's. They wheeled Jess down to pre-op about 30 minutes ago. Mom went with her to make sure that the Cardiac Anesthetist is present. They only let one person go with. I gave her a giant hug right before they wheeled her off. She was very emotional. When I cry, she cries harder, so I tried holding off until she was around the corner. It felt really good to cry. My heart literally hurts for her right now. I know that she is in the best hands possible, and that Jesus is by her side. I know and trust that she is going to be o.k., it's just hard to watch sweet Jessie go through all of this. You just want to step in and carry this burden for her, but you can't. It's been another good lesson in giving it up to God, surrendering it to Him. It is so much harder to watch her go through this, than it was to go through it myself.

I just read through the messages again, they are such an encouragement to us! Thank you for the time that you have spent reading the updates and sending your love our way. We are so blessed to have so many covering us in prayer, the best gift of all!

We'll keep you posted when she gets out of surgery, and is placed in a room.

Love to you all!

Liz
