We just arrived back into town this afternoon. Mom and Jess are settled in at their condo. Jess is probably in bed sleeping, if I know her! She was released from the ICU at 10:00, this morning. After she was released, we headed over to see both her Cardiologist, as well as her Endocrinologist, to get the final “ok”. All of her levels are stable at this point, we will be seeing her Endocrinologist here in Minneapolis this coming Friday to make sure that her levels continue to balance out. We won’t need to return to Mayo until June for Endo & Cardio follow-up. She is so glad to be home! When we got to their condo door, there were balloons and a sweet welcome home note from the staff at their complex. She had the biggest smile on her face when she walked through the door. Mom heads back to work tomorrow, so I’ll be around to make sure she is taken care of. She’s a little emotional because of the hormones that she’s on, as well as the overwhelming experience that she’s been through this past week. Nothing a little TLC can’t cure! She wants you all to know how incredibly grateful she is for all of you! She cherishes the notes that you have left for her on this wonderful site. Thank you for making her feel so special! Your prayers have been such a gift to all of us!
God Bless you all!!
Love from,
Liz, Jess & Nancy
