Recovery Update

Hi Everyone!

Jess is doing great, and recovering nicely from her surgery. She has been home since last Thursday. She is being a very good patient :), and taking lots of naps! I know that it's hard for Jess to sit around doing nothing, but those are pretty much the doctor's orders! Every day is better than the day before... Obviously, her chest area is still very sore, thank God for Advil! Her doctor told her that it will take around 6 weeks for her to feel like her old self again. Tomorrow, Jess has a post-op appointment with her G.P. We are so thankful that her recovery is going so smoothly.

Jess wants to thank each of you for your precious prayers. Your messages to her in her guestbook are such a treasure, as well. What a gift! Once again, we are so overwhelmed by the love and support that you have all shown. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

P.S. For those of you that were feeling REALLY sorry for us Minnesotans up here in "de frozen tundra," with our crazy sub-zero temps last week...we are "back to normal," with the temp today being 25. A good winter temperature. The kids are happy because it's cold enought that the ice rink isn't slushy, yet not too cold to be outside playing and sledding! There ya have it!
